Bolivar Central fall preview

BOLIVAR, Tenn — The Bolivar Central football season ended last year with a first round playoff exit. They finished the year 6-5. This year they are looking to improve on those numbers, but taking day by day.

Head coach Woodrow Lowe Jr. said he likes how hard his team is working right now, they are focused and competing, that’s all he can ask for.

“We’re about where I expected us to be,” saod Lowe Jr.  “I think we still got a lot of growing up to do. We still got to get a little bit better, but overall I’m proud of the kids. Like I said their working, their here, and their committed. That’s the hardest part about it. The mental stuff is the hard part and we trying to get that taken care of. For the most part we’re right where we need to be.”

The Tigers will open up the season against Fayette Ware.
