Weather Update: 10:30 PM Tuesday
It is quiet across the area and it should remain that way through the rest of the overnight hours. Temps have cooled into the 70s but haven’t moved too much more since the rain pushed through earlier this evening. It is likely that fog forms overnight tonight that could drop visibility down to 1/4 of a mile in some locations. Give yourself some extra travel time in the morning just in case.
Tonight this will start to quiet down around sunset, when we lose daytime heating. Mostly cloudy skies stick around tonight and temps fall back into the low to mis 70s.
Tomorrow it’s going to be another dangerously hot day. Heat Advisories are extended to last until 8 PM Wednesday. Feel like conditions will be back into the triple digits, between 105-110 degrees. Actual temps reach into the low to mid 90s.
This week our temps peak in the mid and upper 90s by Thursday before we start to see a downward trend with the temps. It’s still going to be hot but highs fall to just around the 90 degree mark by Monday. Pop-up showers are likely every day even into early next week.
