Eldridge wins District 73 House Republican primary

JACKSON, Tenn. — Incumbent Jimmy Eldridge will hold his seat as representative for District 73, according to final but unofficial results.

Eldridge carried 61.3 percent of the vote in Thursday’s Republican state primary.

Glen Gaugh

His challenger, Glen Gaugh, carried 38.6 percent of the vote.

The race was a “winner-take-all” primary with no Democratic challenger on the ballot for November’s election.
