Weather Update: 9:15 PM Saturday
Currently things have quieted across the area. Not everyone was able to get some of that rain this afternoon and evening. It did bring in some cooler conditions and temps have fallen into the low to mid 70s and with the passing clouds they wont fall too much more.
Tonight there is a chance for a lingering shower but for the most part, things should quiet down as the evening continues. There is a chance for some patchy fog overnight in the low lying areas. Temps should fall into the upper 60s to low 70s but the muggy conditions do stick around.
To end the weekend, temps linger in the upper 80s and near the 90 degree mark. It will still be humid and feel *slightly* better than today but the heat index values could still reach into the upper 90s. There is slight chance for an isolated storm to pop behind the frontal system Sunday afternoon but for the most part things should remain quiet.
Monday looks to mainly rain free and temps stay in the upper 80s to low 90s. It’s a slight break from the mid 90s but it’s still summer time in the south so it’ll still be warm. By Tuesday the chance for rain returns and by the end of the week temps reach back into the low to mid 90s.
