Jackson Police investigate armed robbery at gas station

JACKSON, Tenn.– Jackson Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened around 4 a.m. Saturday morning.

Police said the incident happened at the Food Mart located at 1215 Whitehall Street.

Two men walked into the store, armed with black handguns, according to officers.

One of the suspects is described as wearing a President Obama face mask.  Police said both men were wearing dark clothing.

Police said the men took an undetermined amount of cash and investigators believe they left in a gold chrysler.
