Jackson man sentenced after pleading guilty to counts of rape of a child
JACKSON, Tenn.-A Jackson man charged with raping a 5-year-old boy multiple times, pleads guilty this week and is sentenced to more than 3 decades in prison.
According to the DA’s office, Scottie Joy will spend the next 32 years in prison without the possibility of parole after pleading guilty to three counts of rape of a child.
He was arrested in March of last year after court documents show he admitted to raping the child at a north Jackson home over a span of months.
