Pedestrian killed in McNairy County

 

FINGER, Tenn. — A pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in McNairy County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Police lights graphicThe THP said the accident happened around 8 p.m. Thursday on Highway 199 in Finger.

Troopers said Brandy Lipford, 38, was getting an animal off the road when the car came over a hill and hit her.

The THP said they have not issued any citations so far. The crash is still under investigation.
