Madison Co. Election Day results now official
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — It’s official — those thought to have won on Election Day Aug. 4 are now confirmed as winners, according to the Madison County Election Commission.
Commissioners met Tuesday morning to certify the votes.
Administrator of Elections Kim Buckley says the primary and county general election had about a 20 percent voter turnout.
With anticipation of triple that turnout for the November election, Buckley says they now are focused on making the next election day as smooth as possible for voters.
