Gibson County Booster Club gets boost with fundraiser
DYER, Tenn.-The Gibson County High School Booster Club gets a boost from a local car dealership.
Thursday evening, between 3 and 5 p.m., Humboldt Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep donated $20 for every test drive of one of its vehicles to the booster club, up to $3,000. The dealership and school called the fundraiser a win-win.
“We have many props, we have, we’ll have travel expenses, for the buses to instrument repairs to band camp, just it goes a long way,” said
Karen Todd, president of the Gibson County Booster Club.
According to the FCA USA brand of vehicles, it has helped raise more than $7 million for schools since 1993.
