Officers seek woman in theft from cash register at Jackson Wal-Mart
JACKSON, Tenn. — Police are seeking a woman in the theft of cash from a register at Wal-Mart in north Jackson.
A woman was captured on surveillance video just before 9 a.m. Aug. 12 taking $178 in cash from one of the registers at Wal-Mart on Emporium Drive and then leaving the store, according to a report from the Jackson Police Department.
Police describe the suspect as a white woman between 50 and 55 years old with a distinctive walk. She was wearing a dark colored ball cap, a dark long-sleeved shirt and blue jeans.
