Weather Update – 11:00 p.m. Tuesday
Temperatures will only drop to the upper 60s and lower 70s tonight under partly cloudy skies as humid air sticks around. Patchy fog will be possible early Wednesday morning with light southerly winds. More hot and humid weather is in store for West Tennessee for the rest of the week with high temperatures in Jackson forecast to reach the 90s again for the first time since August 10th!
WEDNESDAY
Clearer skies should prevail on Wednesday but an isolated shower or thunderstorm will still be possible. We’ll be looking at a 20% chance for rain tomorrow. Expect a hot and humid day with temperatures warming up to the upper 80s and lower 90s during the afternoon.
REST OF THE WORKWEEK
More of the same heat and humidity is forecast on Thursday but a cold front will approach northwest Tennessee on Friday increasing our chance for rain. Scattered showers and thunderstorms will develop along the front to end the workweek with highs continuing to reach the 90s and low temperatures struggling to get below 70°F. Stay with the VIPIR 7 Storm Team for the latest updates to the forecast!
Have a good evening!
