Weather Update: 4:00 PM Sunday
It’s a hot and humid afternoon! We got a tease to better weather the last few days but the humidity has take back over. Current temps are in the upper 80s to low 90s and temps will only continue to warm up over the next few days.
Tonight will be a muggy but clear night. Temps fall into the mid and upper 60s. It won’t be as cool as it was the last few morning but it’ll still be a mild start to the holiday on Monday.
Labor Day has a slight chance for scattered showers across the area. I don’t think you need to cancel plans by any means! Just note a pop-up shower is possible but not every will see the rain. Afternoon high temps soar back into the upper 80s and low 90s with the humidity sitting in place.
The heat and humidity stick around for much of this coming week. Temps remain in the upper 80s and low 90s into next weekend. A front starts to approach the region by the end of the week increasing the chances for rain leading into Saturday.
