Men model beards at Webb high School’s annual fashion show

MCKENZIE, Tenn. — The Webb High School’s Class of 1966 celebrated 50 years at their annual fashion show Sunday afternoon. To get more men involved in the show, there was a “Fear the Beard” competition. Men walked the runway showing off beards some have been grooming for 6 months or longer. The top 3 winners were given a prize from the alumni association.Screen Shot 2016-09-04 at 10.10.35 PM

“It’s all about unity and to keep preserving the history of the only black high school in Carroll County,” fashion show coordinator  Mary Luter Jordan said.

This afternoons fashion show serves as an annual fundraiser for the Webb School Museum. McKenzie mayor Jill Holland even walked the runway as a model.
