Dentist pleads not guilty to prescription drug fraud
MILAN, Tenn. — A local dentist indicted last week on prescription drug fraud charges was arraigned Tuesday.
Dr. Nathan Nash is a dentist out of Milan. His attorney, Mark Donahoe, accepted the indictment on his behalf and entered a not guilty plea.
Donahoe says they filed a waiver of arraignment to allow Dr. Nash to continue working.
“This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to look at it,” Donahoe said. “We’ll take that back, analyze it, file a discovery motion with the state, obtain whatever information that they are required to give us to go forward according to the rules, and then we will file whatever is necessary after that.”
Nash’s next court appearance is set for Sept. 27.
