Woman wanted for failure to appear on 2nd-degree murder charge
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A suspected killer has been added to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office’s most wanted list after officers say she failed to show up Thursday for court.
Deputies say Norma Barnett was scheduled for a hearing Thursday on a second-degree murder count she faces in the stabbing death of her boyfriend in January.
Investigators say Barnett was at the Criminal Justice Complex earlier Thursday but left before her hearing.
