Man to serve 18 years after guilty plea in 2015 shooting
MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A suspected killer pleads guilty this week in Madison County Circuit Court and learns his punishment.
According to the court clerk, Corey Scott has pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the January 2015 shooting death of Harvey Gandy.
Gandy’s body was found inside his apartment on Crescent Street.
As part of Scott’s plea deal, he’ll spend 18 years in state prison without the possibility of parole.
