West Tenn. Special Olympians compete in bocce ball tournament
JACKSON, Tenn. — Students athletes from around West Tennessee competed Friday for a chance to face competitors at the state level.
Area high school-age Special Olympics athletes competed in a bocce ball tournament at North Side High School.
Sixteen teams from Jackson-Madison County and McNairy County played to win the top spots in four divisions.
The top two teams will travel to the state games in May.
