Hearing reset for former church intern facing solicitation charges
JACKSON, Tenn. — A former Englewood Baptist Church intern and Union University student returned to court Tuesday on charges of solicitation of a minor.
Heath Ransom’s attorney told the judge he’s waiting on a video statement and asked that the hearing be reset.
Ransom was indicted in early August on several counts of solicitation of a minor and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
His attorney must file motions before Ransom’s next court date on Oct. 28.
Ransom remains free on bond.
