Man faces drug charges after search of Jackson home

JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man has been arrested after Metro Narcotics and SWAT officers reportedly found a large amount of drugs in his home.

Darex Lynn Thomas faces counts of drug possession with the intent to resell and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.

Officers executed a search warrant Sept. 20 at Thomas’ Wisteria Street home, according to an affidavit. No one was home at the time of the search.

A K-9 unit reportedly found nearly half a pound of marijuana in the home along with digital scales and a ledger appearing to list names and amounts.
