Gov. Haslam urges parents of HS seniors to get ahead on FAFSA
NASHVILLE — Gov. Bill Haslam has a request for Tennessee parents — help your soon-to-be college student start the FAFSA process ASAP.
To qualify for as much financial aid as your future college student can receive, it’s best to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, better known as FAFSA, as soon as it’s available on Oct. 1.
As part of a “FAFSA Frenzy,” the state has shared a wealth of information on their website. Find that info on their TN FAFSA Frenzy web page.
Schools across the state are planning special events to help seniors and their families prepare for graduation next spring.
