Union students and family members enjoy family weekend

JACKSON, Tenn.– Saturday night wrapped up the annual family weekend at Union University.

“This is one of our best events of the year. one of our favorite times. its exciting to see families come back to campus reconnect with their children that are here,”Robbie Graves, assistant VP of admissions said.

The campus was filled with carnival rides, food and games for families to enjoy.

“Its been great to come and meet a lot of his friends and some of the faculty and just get to share in a few days what his world is like,” parent Mitzy Mayfield said.

Union students say the family-friendly weekend sets the University apart from other schools.

Parents said they look forward to keeping the tradition alive next year.
