Wednesday, October 12th marks what would have been  Bobo’s 26th birthday.

Her church family gathered to celebrate her life, and to let everyone know she is still deep in their hearts. It was an emotional morning at Corinth Baptist church. Cameras weren’t allowed in service, but WBBJ 7 Eyewitness news spoke to some folks who were close to her.

One of Holly’s classmates, Suzanne Pratt said “Holly and I went to school together she always had such a sweet smile she was so determined.”

Pastor Don Franks said Holly was a member of the church since she was 12 years old.

“She was very instrumental in inspiring others especially in the field of music she was very talented.”

During service organizers said people who grew up with Holly shared some memories.

Organizer Tammy White said “we’re singing all of Holly’s favorite songs in the congregation we got our praise and worship team singing songs we’ve got her favorite hymnals.”

After service the parking lot filled with people who gathered to celebrate Bobo. Church members wore her favorite colors, pink and blue. Organizers said Holly’s family is grateful to have such a caring church home.

“It’s just an outpouring of love in our community their just so appreciative of what everybody is doing to remember Holly.” White said.

As the balloons went into the air the congregation stood in silence reflecting on their memories of Holly.

“We miss her. We know where she is we have not lost her. She is with the Lord and for that we do celebrate.” Suzanne said.
