JEA crews venture to Florida to help with hurricane relief
JACKSON, Tenn. — Crews with Jackson Energy Authority are doing their part to help those affected by hurricane damage in Florida.
A total of 20 crews from various areas including Jackson are currently in New Smyrna Beach to help restore power.
In a statement, JEA say as of Sunday night power restoration was 75 percent complete, but they hope to be 90 percent complete by Wednesday.
