Demontez Coleman leads his way to the top player from week eight
DICKSON, Tenn — This week’s player of the week had a different story than others in the past. He didn’t get the game winning touchdown. He didn’t lead his team to victory, but he did lead his team when they needed it most.
Demontez Coleman following a 20 point loss to Henry County spoke to his team and told them to hold their heads high.
“My fellow teammates and I haven’t had the season we wanted, but we are just trying to make the best out of the situation we are in,” said Coleman.
On the year he has over 600 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. But his leadership earned him the MVP honors for week 8.
