Search of Weakley Co. home nets 7 meth arrests

WEAKLEY COUNTY, Tenn. — Deputies arrested seven people Wednesday on meth possession charges after executing a search warrant at a home.

Caleb Baker, 20, Lacy Brackett, 26, Bridgitte Covington, 41, Ronald Langley, 31, Waylon Langley, 36, Maxey Mansfield, 21, and Skylar Poore, 27, all were arrested after the search of a home in the 11000 block of Highway 22 between Martin and Dresden, according to a release from the Weakley County Sheriff’s Department.

All are charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Deputies believe some of the people ate methamphetamine as officers entered the home, and some were caught smoking meth at the time, the release states.

Brackett and Mansfield also had other outstanding warrants, according to the release.
