Person struck by four-wheeler; man in custody for DUI

MERCER, Tenn. — A man is in custody after striking a pedestrian with a four-wheeler Sunday on Bond Road in Mercer.

1280x960_60418B00-CPCGUOfficers confirmed the man driving the four-wheeler was driving under the influence, and several charges will be forthcoming, Monday.

The victim is in non-critical condition according to Tom Mapes, public information officer with the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.

This is an ongoing investigation.
