Men charged in alleged group attack, car theft
JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson man was allegedly assaulted and robbed over the weekend, and now police have arrested two suspects.
According to court documents, Marteak R. Anderson and Joshua E. Baker were identified in a photo lineup by the victim as two of six suspects.
The victim says he was attacked and beaten by a group of men.
He escaped in his car but was allegedly blocked by Anderson while Baker tried to reach through the driver’s side window.
After the victim crashed his car, he says he was beaten again and that the suspects stole his car.
Both Anderson and Baker were released on a $10,000 bond each.
