West Tenn. Healthcare begins CEO search

JACKSON, Tenn. — Rural West Tennessee’s largest employer has officially begun to look for a new CEO to lead the health care giant.

wthc-west-tennessee-healthcare.pngThe hospital’s board of directors has announced Witt/Kieffer will be the firm helping them in the search for the next CEO.

During the meeting, they said they have locations in 17 U.S. cities and that they have extensive experience with this type of work. They reportedly perform around 600 of these searches each year.

“They have tons of experience, not just with health systems but with other organizations as well,” said Beth Parnell, director of public relations for West Tennessee Healthcare.

The provider’s former CEO, Bobby Arnold, resigned in April. Since then, James Ross has been interim CEO.

Hospital staff say there is no end date for the search at this time.

The amount the hospital is paying the search firm is not available at this time.
