Woman charged with knife-point robbery at Jackson apartment

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman is charged with forcing her way into an east Jackson apartment and robbing a man with a kitchen knife.

Dianne Hartshaw is charged with aggravated robbery in the Oct. 1 incident.

According to court documents, Hartshaw went to an apartment on East Chester Street asking for money.

When the occupant told her he didn’t have any, Hartshaw reportedly forced her way inside, grabbed a kitchen knife and held it to the victim’s throat before taking $15.

She is being held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and is set to return to court Nov. 3.
