Screen Shot 2016-11-02 at 5.48.11 PMThe Milan Police Department is hosting its first Winter Coat Drive, hoping to collect 40 coats for students in Milan schools. Anyone wanting to make a monetary donation or give a coat can drop it off in the lobby of the police department.

Parents whose kids may need a coat can apply any time at the station.

“Lot of times we take for granted the things that we have, and sometimes the simple necessities like food and a coat is overlooked,” Milan Police Chief Bobby Sellers said.

Applications must be turned in by Nov. 15.
