North Jackson’s Mulligan’s to relocate, holds groundbreaking ceremony
JACKSON, Tenn.-A new chapter began Wednesday for a decades-old bar and eatery in north Jackson.
After 21-years, Mulligan’s is moving, but not very far.
A groundbreaking was held for the restaurant’s new location, just 200-yards away from its current location on Union University Drive.
The new location is in the Union Station development of Thomsen Farms..
Owners say the new location will allow an authentic “Irish pub” feel and another amenity.
“We have clientele who still like to smoke and we’re going hermetically seal on one side from the other, so that the non-smoking public that wants to come and join us,” said Mary Truett, owner of Mulligan’s.
Owners told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News the new Mulligan’s location is set to open in the spring of 2017.
