Weather Update – 10:30 p.m. Thursday
Temperatures will drop to the upper 30s and lower 40s by sunrise at 6:28 a.m. Friday morning. Skies will be partly cloudy to mostly clear during the chilly start to the day. Temperatures should be mild enough to prevent frost from forming overnight.
VETERANS DAY
Skies will become clearer throughout the day but weather will remain dry for Veterans Day! Mainly clear skies during the afternoon will allow temperatures to reach the upper 60s and lower 70s at the warmest point of the day. A cold front will arrive tomorrow night bringing colder air to West Tennessee for the weekend.
Temperatures will drop to the lower and middle 30s again on Sunday morning. Conditions should remain dry through the weekend with our next chance for rain not until next Tuesday.
The latest publication from the U.S. Drought Monitor was released today showing a severe drought in place across parts of Southwest Tennessee. Unfortunately, there isn’t much rain in the forecast to help impeded this drought’s development but temperatures will continue to be cooler than they were last week!
Have a great evening!
