screen-shot-2016-11-12-at-11-26-28-amHENDERSON, Tenn.–There’s no shortage of activities going on for homecoming weekend at Freed-Hardeman University.

Thanks to help from FHU associates, an auxiliary group of ladies that do projects all year long to raise money for scholarships for students at the university.

The morning started with a pancake breakfast and a 5K race.

Students, alumni, and community supporters were present to enjoy breakfast while shopping from local vendors, who sell one of a kind items.

FHU Associate, Debbie McLaughlin said “I love being apart of it I love doing everything I can do to make sure as many students as possible can receive the education that we know and love here at Freed-Hardeman.”

Organizers said one of their highlights of the day is the silent auction.
