Traffic stop leads Union City police to guns, drug paraphernalia

OBION COUNTY, Tenn. — A traffic stop in Union City leads police to discover guns and drug paraphernalia.

According to police documents, officers pulled over Brandon Simpson and Clay Solomon Monday night for a seat belt violation.

Investigators say after the men exited the vehicle, officers found three guns, pipes with meth residue along with digital scales and small plastic bags.

Both men face multiple weapons and drug charges.
