‘Front Porch’ restaurant in Bells treats workers, friends & volunteers with meal

BELLS, Tenn. — Hundreds come to a Bells restaurant for a free Thanksgiving lunch.

bells-front-porch-restaurantThe Front Porch in Bells was crowded Tuesday as more than 300 workers, friends and volunteers all enjoyed the annual meal.

Owners of the restaurant say it’s just a way to give back and promote the real meaning of Thanksgiving.

“I just want them to be happy, and this is Thanksgiving and I just want them to enjoy this,” owner Carolyn Reed said.

Reed says they expect to feed 500 before the end of the day Tuesday.
