‘Front Porch’ restaurant in Bells treats workers, friends & volunteers with meal
BELLS, Tenn. — Hundreds come to a Bells restaurant for a free Thanksgiving lunch.
The Front Porch in Bells was crowded Tuesday as more than 300 workers, friends and volunteers all enjoyed the annual meal.
Owners of the restaurant say it’s just a way to give back and promote the real meaning of Thanksgiving.
“I just want them to be happy, and this is Thanksgiving and I just want them to enjoy this,” owner Carolyn Reed said.
Reed says they expect to feed 500 before the end of the day Tuesday.
