Man accused in Dyersburg shooting appears in court
DYERSBURG, Tenn.-The man accused in the shooting at a child’s birthday party in Dyersburg earlier this month, appeared in court Monday to face the charge of first degree murder.
Torius Saville Russell, 29, of Ripley is charged for the death of Shanice Amerson, 21, after he apparently came into the yard and opened fire.
After appearing in front of a judge, his bond remained at $2 million.
His next court appearance is scheduled for January 26 at the Dyer County jail.
