United Way of West TN involved in “Giving Tuesday” campaign
JACKSON, Tenn.-The United Way of West Tennessee is getting involved in a global day of giving with the “Giving Tuesday” campaign.
The campaign is an effort to raise money for various charitable organizations.
The best was to get involved is to text “United T-N” to 7-1-7-7-7.
They will text you a link to a donation form where you can choose which West Tennessee county you would like to donate to.
Officials said today is a great way to kick off a season of giving.
“It’s a great opportunity for us to, not only collaborate with each other, to get that social media push but to really tell our story and to let people know the great work that’s going on in West Tennessee and really get people involved,” said Scott Conger, president and CEO of the United Way of West Tennessee.
The United Way says “Giving Tuesday” raised millions of dollars last year from donations all over the world.
