TSBA holds community meeting, searching for feedback in supt. search

JACKSON, Tenn.-The Tennessee School Board Association held its final meeting Wednesday night to get feedback on the search for a new district leader.

Those in attendance including parents were able to talk about what they are most proud of within the school system, what problems the new superintendent will face and also what personal characteristics they would like to see within the new leader.

This was one of the first steps in choosing new leadership.

“Once we get back to our office, we will compile all of this information, put it together in a report and our executive director Dr. Tammy Grissom will be here December 15 and present that report to the board of education and the board will adopt the criteria for the new superintendent based on the information we give them,” said Randall Bennett, executive director of the Tennessee School Board Association

Parents are encouraged to take a 21-question survey. To find the link to that survey, go to the “Seen on 7” section.
The survey will remain online until next Monday.
