West TN Red Cross volunteers lend aid to East TN tornado victims

The volunteers expected to see a lot of damage when they arrived there Wednesday afternoon.
They are planning on staying a week or two to help with the recovery and cleanup and are bringing everything that a family needs to survive.
“In a disaster like this, early on the things we try to do is make sure that folks have shelter food clothing and medication, just the basic human needs that you know every family needs to survive,” said David Brumley, volunteer with the West Tennessee Chapter of the American Red Cross.
