Milan kicks-off holidays with annual Christmas parade

MILAN, Tenn.- The holiday season is here and what better way to usher in the Christmas holiday than with a parade.

Thursday night in Milan, residents young and old gathered along the streets for the sights and sounds of the holidays with floats and marching bands.

“It’s fun ’cause you get to have hot cocoa, meet a lot of your friends and just get to hang out and watch floats go around and around,” said Leah Belk, one of the many parade watchers.

The parade ended with a visit from old St. Nick himself.
