Paris, Tenn. landmark to get upgrade just in time for the holidays

PARIS, Tenn.- An iconic West Tennessee landmark is getting an upgrade just in time for the holidays.

The Eiffel Tower in Paris, Tennessee is getting a new lighting system that will light the tower up in just about any color you can imagine.
The Paris–Henry County Chamber of Commerce has raised the money from different departments and businesses in the area to pay for the lights.

“It’s a neat, iconic landmark for us, it brings a lot of folks here. People come by all the time during the day getting their picture taken
and we thought it would be kind of unique to see if we couldn’t light up the Eiffel Tower to where we could have a lot of different events
that we could support,” said David Hamilton, CEO of the Henry County Alliance.

The chamber will be hosting a lighting ceremony for the tower on December 20 at 5:30 p.m., showcasing the new lightingenn.
