Cell phone service reportedly down in Savannah area

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. — Some cell phone users in the Savannah area reportedly are experiencing a loss of service.

The Savannah Police Department confirmed the problem and said it’s due to a technical issue involving two towers. The problem reportedly is affecting AT&T customers.

Crews are working to correct the problem, but there is not yet word on when service may be restored.
