Police investigate early morning shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. — Jackson police investigate an early morning shooting which injured two people.

Officers say the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday in the 200 block of Morningside Drive.

There were two victims, according to police, but their injuries were non life-threatening. At this time, the motive is not known.

Police said they have no one in custody, and the only description of suspects so far is two black men dressed in black clothing.
