MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. — A woman is facing a drug possession charge after a Tuesday traffic stop on Interstate 40 led deputies to 66 pounds of marijuana.
Simone Chance was arrested after officers stopped her vehicle on I-40 near mile marker 81 for following too closely, according to the sheriff’s office.
With the help of Timo, the department’s new K-9, deputies reportedly found 66 pounds of marijuana worth more than $120,000.
