TBR announces recommendation for new JSCC president
JACKSON, Tenn. — The Tennessee Board of Regents has announced the recommendation for the next president of Jackson State Community College.
TBR Chancellor David Gregory will recommend Dr. Allana R. Hamilton as the next JSCC president during a special called board meeting Dec. 15, according to a TBR release.
Hamilton has served as vice president for academic affairs at Northeast State Community College in Blountville since 2010.
The chancellor’s recommendation will go before the Board of Regents in a special telephone conference call set for 2 p.m. Dec. 15, according to the release.
The board appoints all community college presidents and College of Applied technology directors in the TBR system.
