Academy Sports surprises 30 kids with new bikes for Christmas

JACKSON, Tenn. — An auditorium was full of happy kids Wednesday at Arlington Elementary School.

Thirty lucky students whose names were chosen at random went home with brand new bikes and helmets from Academy Sports.

During this season of given, Academy Sports in Jackson was excited to host their first annual holiday giveaway, saying it felt good to give back.

“It was awesome to see them smiling and having such a great time today,” Academy Sports Store Director Shaun Kehe said. “They were fired up about it, and that’s what we love to do.”

This holiday bike donation program is going on at Academy Sports locations across the country and will benefit more than 4,500 boys and girls.
