Family friend & spokesperson reacts to Holly Bobo case developments
DECATUR COUNTY, Tenn. — Holly Bobo’s family and friends packed the courtroom Wednesday morning for court proceedings as all three suspects appeared in court.
A spokesperson for the Bobo family says they want the truth and guilty verdicts.
“It’s changed our way of thinking in this county,” Tammy Ramey, a family friend, said. “You feel anger. You feel hurt — it’s just mixed emotions.”
Ramer watched Wednesday as Zach Adams, Dylan Adams and Jason Autry faced a judge in Decatur County.
“It’s like watching the devils walk in,” Ramey said.
By the time Zach Adams goes to trial in April, Ramey says it will have been six years since Bobo’s disappearance.
Prosecutors says it’s an obstacle they’ll face during the trial.
“Time never helps when you’re trying to prove a case,” Assistant District Attorney Paul Hagerman said. “Time never helps when you’re a family waiting for justice.”
Ramey says even though it’s been several years since Holly’s disappearance, they’re still hoping for justice.
“However long it takes to get it, and get it right the first time, that’s what we want,” Ramey said.
Ramey says the family doesn’t mind traveling to Hardin County for the trial. “There’s progress, and we’re on the road to justice,” she said.
In the meantime, the Bobo family waits for answers, the truth, a verdict and justice for Holly.
Prosecutors expect the other two suspects, Dylan Adams and Jason Autry, to be tried in July.
