33 graduate as part of 2016 Leadership Jackson program
JACKSON, Tenn.- 33 local business professionals graduated from the Jackson Chamber’s 20-16 “Leadership Jackson” program, Thursday night.
The program gives these business professionals an opportunity to better understand the community and the challenges it faces.
Class members visited community landmarks, met with area leaders and participated in weekly sessions about topics impacting Jackson-Madison County.
“They’re infused with the responsibility to get back in the community and to give back, servant leadership. To find ways that they can help in the community, whether it’s serving on boards or getting involved or discovering what Jackson has that they didn’t know before they started,” said Jon Ewing, chairman of the 2016 “Leadership Jackson” graduation class.
The people that graduated are emerging leaders in the community.
