Woman charged with stabbing husband

JACKSON, Tenn. — A woman faces an aggravated assault charge after police say she stabbed her husband.

Temisi Higgins is accused of stabbing her husband once in the lower abdomen around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at a Charlesmeade Drive home, according to an affidavit.

Police say the man also suffered a cut to his right hand.

The man was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

Higgins is charged with aggravated domestic assault.
