Championship Bull Riding rodeo is this weekend in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. — Organizers have an action-packed weekend planned at Oman Arena as dozens of bull riders will mount up Friday and Saturday night.

Crews work Friday afternoon at the Oman Arena to prepare for the Championship Bull Riding Bud Light Classic rodeo.

The Championship Bull Riding Bud Light Classic starts at 8 p.m. Friday. Doors open at 6 p.m. Find out more including admission info on the event’s Facebook page.

Officials have 40 rides planned for Friday night, and the riders will sign autographs afterward for one of their favorite crowds in the country.

“The crowd’s right there on top of us — there’s not a bad seat in the house,” bull rider Brandon Loden said. “We really feed off the crowd here when you’re out there trying to do your job, because they seem to have a good time here, and it’s just a neat little place to be.”

If you can’t make it out to Friday’s show, don’t worry. A tournament round followed by a concert is set for Saturday night.
